WE finished final packing and out of the driveway at 6 am, a little later than we planned, but what the hell, we have 3 months!
It didn't take long to get into the rain, and rain was the order of the day - all day. We logged somewhere in the neighborhood of 475 miles without a major incident (except for me dozing off three times while driving...) Each was only a split second, but I still have to be extra careful about ...

Oh the woes of packing everything but the kitchen sink. I have packed before but always thrown everything in the truck as Bob follows, it's different this time, he's staying home. Will have to look at all that stuff again on Monday. I need every item on that bike n more. Oh well. Refining begins ...
... off to Poconos for the Nascar racing.
The girls slept in. Lunctime we took a walk to the local swimming spot near by. A small lake with a beach and quite a few in swimming and sun-baking on the beach. (A bit cool for us)
