Staying at Martin Lake Resort which is a definite stretch! It is mobile home park not an rv park, with old fifth wheels and campers that people call home. There is a nice lake and a pool. We drove down along the gulf and stopped to take pictures of the carved trees damaged during Katrina. Absolutely beautiful! Kind of nice this morning to be able to sleep in a bit and sit around, relax and have coffee outside before we had to get the day started. Turns out this was a project in the wake of Katrina. I encourage you to take a look--some of these statues are quite beautiful, and I think this is a lovely way to help clean up the mess.
