What's life without a little risk? Or, I guess in this case, a lot of risk! I leave for Egypt in three days where I will be joining ISIS never to return to the States ever again! KIDDING DAD!! Of all my trips, this is definitely one where I will need to take the most care, and I guarantee you that I will.

Currently, there is a lot of unrest within Egypt and a "high ...

As soon as we arrived we were greeted with hugs, smiling faces, and helpful hands to bring in our luggage. With that we all forgot just how chaotic the trip there had been! We got all of our stuff inside ...

... a new building designed by a Thai architect with a few standout works, one being a streetscape by Richard Diebenkorn, the sort of painting that makes me wish I could paint like that, the other being Folding the Sheet, by local GR artist Rick Beerhorst, b. 1960. A couple of good Warhols. Also a show of Michigan Design which included some wful Chares Eames and Bauhaus furniture. Downtown GR has an enormous Alexander Calder red sculpture, you know big boys stuff! and ...
