Motorcycle friendly and clean and tidy. Desk staff are great. Thankfully places deliver and they do have cold beer.

It's hard to believe that we are leaving for Italy and Greece tomorrow! I am beyond excited for this trip and cannot wait for the adventure to begin. As excited as I am for the trip, I am not so excited about packing. For one who travels abroad frequently, you would think I would have no trouble packing; however I always procrastinate on packing. No pictures today. The remote to Go Pro died. The ride was generally nice. Started off cool in Ct. and I had to add a couple of layers. I rode 427 Miles today and stopped for lunch. Winchester VA begins the fun part of the ride. Skyline Drive to Roanoke Va. then I jump on I- 81 again to Wytheville VA. Trying Natty Greens English Style IPA from North Carolina. Not bad. More tomorrow and I promise I'll stop for pictures.

I hit Shenandoah National Park at mile 862 and was treated to spectacular views and easier hiking. The weather has been amazing and the hiking has ...
... guy walked by and said "I can tell you are Thru-hikers, you ordered dessert first." Then he started laughing :) As we finished paying, it started to downpour, so we sat in the big comfortable entry chairs and stunk up the place, with our essence of hiker! Oh, we saw the Coyote Crew! They are doing good, and they pulled a rattle snake out of a hole - to get a photo of it! Well, after letting the rain pass, we headed out.....down the trail, around a few ...
