    ... hummus, carrots, etc etc etc. We set up a table and make sandwiches. We're all given little jobs to take care of. Seems this will be the plan for most of our lunches, which is fine as there is plenty of choice and it's pretty good. It's such a beautiful day... and so far, so good ...

    Highlights

    Our Super 8 hotel was definitely one of the less salubrious of the trip so far. We only had one night here so headed into the downtown area. We were pleasantly surprised by this seaside town, with a metro area containing about half a million people it had just enough hustle to be interesting.

    ... Stopped for lunch at a delightful little local cafe. An Aviation Tour Company was along our way and offered biplane tours. One of the things on Ben's bucket list was to ride in a biplane.     Today is our first port of call - Portland, Maine. It is the largest city in Maine and sits on a small peninsular jutting into Casco Bay. Early in the morning, we could see the rocky and pretty coastline, dotted with lighthouses.
