We woke up early to enjoy the beach and hoped to see dolphins but no luck. The beach was stunning though. We had breakfast and packed up to leave. They gave us a CD on check out from the Inn of romantic beach music! Such a nice touch. I was sad to leave. It was so nice there.

... and sausage and the best potatoes ever. We tried to eat outside on the patio but then quickly realized the rain was starting to blow sideways and eventually we had to move inside. We then came back to bed. It felt so nice to do NOTHING and have no where to go or any obligation at all to be somewhere or feeling like we were missing anything. ... everything. I had to throw out mostly all the food. Thankfully they did not go for the chocolate for some reason but ravaged the bread and an entire large jar of peanut butter!! They were all over the bag and we tried washing it in the shower but they were still all over it so I scrubbed every inch of it in the sink and we were able to salvage that. I had to call the desk and tell them we would be late checking out due ...
... our two little pups Barry and Eddie. Really, really missed those little guys! Thanks to Isabelle Welage for the great arrangements for our first cruise ever. It certainly won’t be our last! Finally, thanks for all the great comments and e-mails you put on the blog or sent directly to me! Looking forward to seeing all our great friends in Santa Rosa Beach this weekend!

... we head for Civitavecchia to board cruise ship. We will probably take an open air bus to get a flavor of the city tomorrow and plan our excursions from there based off what we see. Friday AM we have a private tour in the Vatican and St Peter's Basilica, et al. Should be fun!
