Well, we left town at 5:25pm and headed south for our vacation! We stopped at Gardiners Barbecue on the way down, hoping to get a good Southern meal but in the end it was just an average meal. Back on the road driving, driving, driving, and only occasionally hitting light showers we made it to our hotel in Florence around 11pm. A big storm from the …

Very good value, comfortable beds. Ok for a one night stay off the highway, and the price was great. But a few minor complaints....several of the outlets didn't work, the carpet was still a bit damp from having been shampooed, and the breakfast room was extremely overcrowded. Would I have paid $40 more to stay at another hotel down the street? No. The basics of a clean, comfortable, quiet room with a good nights sleep was what I got, and that is what I was looking for.
