We were pretty pleased to be leaving Provincetown for a bigger city with hopefully some life. On the way down the coast we passed some mental halloween displays outside houses and took a detour to the Cape Cod crisp factory! Loads of free samples so I was happy. The city of Providence is pretty spread out and hard to navigate round. Our hotel, the Biltmore, was awesome - old style and grand but was right across ...

... We parked in a super rich area of town where I am sure our van got snooty looks and walked down to the campus. It was not the nicest day outside once again but the campus was very pretty. There was a really fancy courtyard that led to all the frat and sorority buildings and it felt a little surreal like we were in a movie. One can only imagine the parties that took place within its amazing rooms!

... purpose, but to look up and enjoy the surroundings. All about the journey, not the speed. We averaged about 3.25 miles an hour with no breaks... Still a bit fast. But the real discovery was after the walk... Annette introduced me to CW-X compression tights! Wow, during the hours I wore them after the walk I could feel the benefit. I will be reading about these on the plane home on Tuesday! Thanks Annette for the walk, talk and intro to the tights that may save my hips and ...

What a week! Friday, we hooked up with our friend Ranger and his wife Lisa in East Harwich. Our time with them included a great meal at the All American, the best donuts on the Cape the next day, a tour of Chatham and surrounding area, wrapped up with lunch at the Chatham Bars patio and a cocktail in the bar, complete with flat screen simulated port hole! Thanks Ranger for magically making those checks disappear without a trace. And for the tour and to Lisa for ...
