We stopped a little bit earlier than expected, but found a hotel right off the highway just as the kids really needed a break or sleep, and went for a great late night hot tub and swim. We'll drive extra tomorrow.
... look than I had yesterday. The eagle place was right on the Mississippi. I got some good pics. I am keeping my eyes open. Apparently they like to fish and eat road kill. Much cooler looking than the nasty turkey vultures we see in Ohio that like road kill too. Big birds!

Seriously, today was one of the first days that I actually felt like a giant. The drivers seat in the truckster is tight. I do not know how my dad fits in the seat. We got up super early today. And i was the first driver of the day! It wasnt that bad. I actually enjoyed it. I liked it! We stopped at the Worlds Largest Truckstop. It was also the Iowa 80 Truck Museum. Oh it was fabulous! LOL! ... into the local shop and buy ice ream sandwiches- SUGAR FREE- FAT FREE!!!!! You wont get anything with both in the UK. There's so much choice here.
Walking quickly back to the house ( so our Ice cream doesn't melt) we noticed that every vehicle approaching a crossroads will stop, regardless of signs, lights or road markings. It takes some getting used to be we think that the pedestrian always has the right of way. We will practice this rule and find out soon ...
