Jen here. I just visited friends and family in Memphis and am back in Owensboro. JD and I are trying to get the last details for our trip hammered out before we head in different directions. JD is going to the Nevada Outback for a weekend with the guys, and I'm traveling to Long Beach, CA to participate in a half marathon with the ladies. ... 8212;the carts were lit up and full of folks and were lined up in a nice little parade. The next day the bottom half of the rv park was going to be blocked off for go-cart races and we were also treated to several large go-cart carriers trying to find their slots in the dark. ... for different reasons so we were curious who would be able to get there. We also found that the park was hosting go-cart races that Saturday&#8212;there were a lot of bales of hay being laid out and plastic fencing marking a rather impressive race track. The park also had several lakes that they stock with fish regularly so folks can, as Tom says, go out and murder some wildlife. I don&#8217;t think Tom will be fishing.

... but somehow it's stayed alive and now it's a lovely, peaceful and quite interesting tourist destination.  Paul Tillich is buried here, Richard Meier designed the very modern Visitor Center, there are two Labyrinths (the original Harmonist one, made of privet hedge; and the newer "Cathedral" one, a replica of the Labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral), and there's also the "Roofless Church" built in ...

We been moving along to get home and it is a long way. So I'm going to post where we spend the night and then the next day it's off on the next leg. Were on our way to North Carolina and then to Florida. Sorry no pictures. Ray and Christa
