Hampton Inn Eau Claire-University Area

Hey everybody,

As you well know I'm leaving for Europe for 6 weeks starting this Sunday. Instead of writing lots of separate emails I thought I would chronicle my travels in this travel blog. Feel free to check back in to see where in the world I am and to feel so incredibly jealous of me. :D

Eau Claire Wir Treffen bei der Familie vom Cliff ein. ... Illinois. We had lunch when we got to Madison WI. Major storm almost caught us but we were on the road and outran it. Arrived at 6:00 pm our time or 5:00 pm Central Time. Great motel. Today I traveled with family members to Eau Claire, Wisconsin to remember a special relative who has recently passed away. We had a really lovely time together. After the memorial service and luncheon I photographed several families present and some of the items from the service and then we spent time over at my cousin's home. I really enjoy the times that we spend in Eau Claire and was thankful that the service was this ...

... other wierd stuff like that. It's called Body Works. It's more my mom and olson's kind of thing, but I think it'll still be cool. Then we're staying overnight in Chicago and flying out of O'hare at 5:45 AM. With any luck we'll be in Mexico by about noon. Anyway, I guess that's all I got. When I enter on here again, we'll be in Mexico.

In approximately 22 days and 12 hours I will be boarding a plane to travel over seas to a country that I will be studying for the next four months. Excitement can be sometimes over whelming and other times it just doesn't feel like it's really hit home yet. I have worked throughout my whole winter break saving up for this trip which I know will surely pay off big time. Looking at pictures of Australia and hearing about others ...

... There was one stop that was amusing. We took some pictures to show the vehicles of choice in Wisconsin's winter. Although it's been a struggle getting here, it feels SO good to be back! Beyond the fact that we missed our families and friends, it's feels amazing to have a real home cooked meal, free laundry, a familiar bed, fresh towels ...
