      ... of the marathon, we went for a walk around the reservoir. Mom then needed to pack her bags, or, pack my bags actually, since she was going to take 23 kilos worth of winter clothing, shoes and souvenirs so that I would not have to take it with me on my travels after the semester. She then hopped into a taxi to the airport and headed back to Amsterdam, via Dublin, to arrive back home Tuesday afternoon.

      Mam, thanks for the wonderful trip around the states, let’s do it again soon!!!

      ... the guide, although a lovely old lady, was quite hard of hearing and couldn't hear when people asked questions. Then went to the international spy museum which was ok. It had a Bond theme there as well focusing on as the evil villains. Not as good as the designing 007 display on at the Melb museum!       ... check out the must sees like the White House along with a sea of fellow tourist hoping to spot Michelle playing with her daughters in the front yard. If you don't get a chance to see that, you can always head down the the Lincoln Memorial where you can guarantee a picture with at least one president!
