    We survived the longest day in history but not without sleeping in the hotel lobby and the grassy shade of a little park. The sun is hot and the shoes need to be comfortable because we are on our feet and moving through the busy streets of Madrid!

    ... by-passed the Eisenhower Tunnel, but it was well worth it. The snow covered mountains were exactly what I wanted to see driving through Colorado.
