... an easy drive! It rained all the time and at times it was coming down so hard we had to slow way down to see the road! We saw more lightning and heard more thunder in a day than we've seen in years in SD!

When we arrived at the park, someone in a fancy RV was stuck in the mud on the median! They were going to need a truck to pull them out ...

... It does seem like a great family spot but it was almost overwhelming for how over the top it was. Chris and I definitely appreciate a more understated type of place. We took advantage of a nearby beach that was much quieter and walked along the boardwalk and in the sand. We watched from the balcony the other car, water also getting too close. They did finally get some extra hands who helped shift it, but you could see it too only had minutes left before ...

... was enormous. Once upon a time, the largest building in the world. Largest open building I think it meant, as the internals of the building was designed to assemble the Saturn rockets on their launch platform and the shuttle years later. We followed the crawler tracks and drove around the different launch platforms. The crawler track is the roadway where the large crawling platform would move the rockets or the shuttle from the assembly plant to the launch platform. It is ...

... I was disappointed that there were even 40minute lines just to take pictures with the characters (Mickey mouse etc) so I didn't get to have any :( After Magic Kingdom we finished our drive to Daytona Beach. We got to Nicole's condo a day before her and her boyfriend so we went out with her parents that night and got ourselves settled in to our room. The condo is right on the beach being on the balcony and looking out is really peaceful and it was ...
