A wonderful and pleasant place to stay. Highly recommended.

          from

Room is clean, spacious, has classic decor and a nice ocean view. Staff are friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast is very good and has many varieties. I booked this hotel after I read other people's reviews here and I'm so grateful to them. Thanks guys.

          Great Hotel and Beach

          from

We stayed just one night July 12th on way to see space shuttle launch. The staff was professional and very friendly. The hotel was in a faboulas location. The view fron the private balconies for each room were spectacular. The beach and pool were wonderful. The hotel common areas and rooms were very clean. Breakfast items were well stocked. I will definately stay at this hotel if ever in the area again.

          Great place for a family!

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for the week of the Space Shuttle that got scrubbed. I love the Hamptons they are so clean and the people are so helpful in recomendations. The breckfast was soooo good and it really helps when you have a family of five to feed. We ate in the morning and were full till dinner. The refridgerator and microwave were great in the room to. Our view was awsome of the ocean, we were right there on the beach. I am in the process of booking our next Getaway and guess what we will be staying at an Hampton Inn.

          Awesome!!!

          from

My family and I stayed at the Hampton Inn. We read the reviews posted on this site and thought it sounded good. We were very pleasantly surprised. After spending 6 nights in Orlando at another Hotel, we wished we had stayed here from the beginning of our vacation. We stayed for 4 days and we paid a little extra for a later checkout since out plane was not leaving until 6pm. The manager and staff could not be nicer or more accomodating. The housekeeping staff were the nicest folks!! All the staff on the premises were great!! The rooms are large, the beds quite comfy, and the bathrooms are a nice size. We had a beautiful ocean view and had private balconies. We didn't want to leave and plan to go back next year for an entire week. The whole hotel was clean and neat. The pool was very big and there were plenty of deck chairs. Also, the hotel provides chaise lounges to use on the beach!! They also offer large size beach towels so you don't need to take yours from home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who has a family, is on business, or just wants a nice place to stay. We will always go back to the Hampton Inn!! You can also enjoy fresh cookies every night!! Karen D, Rhode Island

          Hampton Inn the Best

          from

Our family of 4 w/2 teenaged boys stayed over spring break. The staff, the view, the beach were awesome. The "continental breakfast" in the morning was more than you could ask for, included hot food and ran as late as 10:00 which was perfect for vacationers! The kids had a ton of fun meeting other teens who were there w/their families as this hotel catered to that--had to be w/aparent or guardian to stay there! Yea!

I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Best stay in the Daytona Beach area

          from

Spent spring break 2005 in this hotel, 7th floor oceanview and would highly recommend. (Family of four, with two teenagers.) The staff is warm, friendly and efficient; the facilities are nicely furnished and kept very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly nice, with many items offered, including two hot entrees each morning. The 'breakfast lady' was always cheerful and catered to each guest. The evening hot cookies were something to look forward to! We really enjoyed the Port Orange and Daytona Beach Shores area over Daytona Beach, but everything is close by car. I would suggest a room on the lower of the 8 floors, as the 2 elevators were always busy. As a side note, try "Aunt Catfish" restaurant on the other side of the bridge. Hands down, this was our favorite, even with two non-fish eaters in the family. The locals all go there, too, so lunch is your best bet. Salad bar is great, too. Lunches are around $7-$10 and you can't eat it all! Became a daily trek for us. Thanks, again to the Hampton for a great stay!

          Best hotel on the beach

          from

This hotel is by far the nicest place in daytona. The rooms are very spacious and super clean. The furniture is new and the rooms are decorated nicely. The view from the balconies are breath taking. The housekeeping is A1 they are quite generous with shampoos, soaps and plenty of large soft bath towels. The breakfast is superb they offer much more than your typical continental breakfast, from hard boiled eggs, fruit salad , bagels, toast, english muffins, waffles, pancakes, donuts, danishes, cereals, fruit, biscuits and gravy and coffee, tea, milk, juice. The staff is so friendly they try to accomodate all your needs, they even have beach toys for the kids. They have free coffee all day and they even have fresh hot baked cookies every night. We stayed for 2 weeks in July 2004 and we can't wait to go back soon. It is a great place for families. If you want quiet , and super clean accomodations with a nice oceanfront pool and hot tub, which they also supply the towels for, this is the place. Absolutely the best beach bed and breakfast just like their ads!! Believe me you can't go wrong.

          Best hotel, highly recommend

          from

I wish every hotel we stayed at could have been this nice. The furnishings were newer and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. The sound of the ocean was like heaven. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a moderately price room in the quieter section of the strip.

          Wonderful!

This Hampton was wonderful! We had an oceanfront room and the sound of the ocean was very relaxing. The staff was very friendly, every employee that we came in contact with spoke with us. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, just wish I was going back soon.

Daytona has bikers driving up and down everywhere and has a speedway (race track) and a bike week festival, so I guess people come to visit for driving. ... of this NP is underwater, it is well worth the visit. The history of the fort, the role it played in US history going back to the civil war, and the shear size and unbelievable construction of this building out in the middle of the ocean, made the visit very memorable. After 4 or so hours touring the fort, walking on deserted beaches and even a little snorkeling, we head back to Key West. Once we arrived back in Key West, we walked, shopped and ate (and ...
