We got up in the morning and were hooked up to wifi for the first time! While it was great to get connected, it was kind of cool being cut off from the world for a while:). We updated the blog, got our new phone working (my mom has the number should anyone need it) and got ready for the day.

As we drove closer to our destination, a nice little cottage on the Mississippi River, the skies clouded over again and the weather reports called for “flash floods” and thunderstorms all night. Very glad to be in a cabin instead of a tent tonight:).
We did a site change, went out for dinner, had a glass of wine (well Carson didn’t), and went to bed. Temperatures are much colder now........
