I'm loading up the truck and heading east to Daingerfield State Park, so everybody cross your fingers! I called to ask about campsites, showers, hiking trails, etc., and it sounds good. No wi-fi, I'm sure, so if you don't hear from me for a while, it means I'm hiking and reading and canoeing. And if it's warm enough, swimming in the lake with the critters. Woo-hoo!

Today was a simple day. Drove to Dallas. Drove around Dallas and thought Texas Stadium looked dumpy. I want to the Stars v Sharks game. Sharks won 2-1. Had a good time. Worst part was missing Denise. I really look forward to stopping back in Houston to see my Honey on the way back.

Spent a few hours in a town called Grapevine near the Dallas international airport in Texas during our 8 hour layover.
