    ... just about wore us out! But it was a great afternoon experience, and the weather was beautiful (around 80 degrees). Then drove on to our stopping spot for the night (London, KY), and had dinner at a local restaurant. We had some of the local fare...fried catfish, fried okra, sweet potato fries!! All delicious!     ... play some catch. Jodi of corse took pictures. By 3:00 pm, we were ready to just stop and get out of the car. We decided we would head for London, Kentucky for the night.     Long day of driving - 442 miles, about 7.5 hours.

    We stay at this park usually on our way back home. It's comfortable, easy access, and good hookups. It is connected with a company that brings in live country entertainers throughout the year. We keep hoping we will be there when something is scheduled but have missed it so far.

    3:30 pm - Finally reached Tennessee! We had another hour long, slow-moving delay near Corbin, Kentucky. I'd driven 80 miles and the breeze is really stiff. We decided to take a stretch break at the Tennessee Welcome Station.
