    This trip was just to get away, unwind and relax. Came back here to see the friends we made last year. Been playin cards, the girls have done a couple puzzles etc... Went to Blue ridge to the Blue Ridge Community Theater and watched a play "Miracle on 34th Street". Was very entertaining.     ... all had a good time crushing the **** out of it. Later we moved to another section, a 5.9 on slab with a super awkward slopey shelf start that was pretty neat. I led this route to the top to set up the top rope anchor, but little did I know how bad the guide book actually was... When I got to the 5th bolt, I could not see another. Apparently it was actually a mixed route trad/sport. But I refused to leave me gear... So about 30ft away from the last bolt, I traversed ...

    ... times. But it didn't matter as we got to see some beautiful things. Found ourselves in the little town of Floyd and visited their markets. Ed Marby's Mill was very interesting. Whoops, lost again and wound up at a Car Show and markets at another little place called Woolwine.
