... Neat new game. The campground has horseshoes, shuffle board and a game called holy holes. Has 3 holes in 2 wooden boxes and you stand on one and throw at the other using large metal flat washers. Walked around Helen and took a few nice pictures of the architecture, and got some penuche fudge at Hansel and Gretel candy shop.
Buzzed back and stopped to get some laundry soap in Waynesville. Chilling tonight and doing some laundry.
I love riding down here, but it is much more tiring than straight "highway humping"!
... had a leisurely morning. Brian and Bob did a few projects and Jeanne and I went into Lavonia and browsed the antique mall and did a little grocery shopping. That afternoon we went for another boat cruise and then grilled out for dinner. We built a fire and sat around talking the rest of the evening. On Wednesday we were able to have another relaxing day. We spend part of the day by Lake Lanier sitting and looking at this amazing lake which seems to go on for miles. It quite easy to just get lost looking at the sun boucing off the lake. It's almost hypnotic. It makes you realise how much this country would have to offer.
... Gainesville, GA. We are staying at the Super 8 Motel. We will arise in the morning, pack up PEARL and head out for another day's ride. We will hopefully visit the "Our Lady of the Angels Monastary" and the "Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament" in Hanceville,AL and will stay in Irondale,AL tomorrow night.
