So off we go to Nashville, the weather is rainy, misty and weird but it makes a nice relaxing drive through the hills and forest. Along the way, I fit a quick 10-20minute powernap in, and then pass the time by catching up on the blogging on the laptop. We stopped about an hour out from Nashville for fuel and to stretch our legs.

Mitch and I left for Crooked Creek Parking parking lot, Yellowwood State Forest, after work to drop my car off at the end of the trail, well 2 miles shy of the end. We got to Morgan-Monroe State Forest around 8:00 PM and setup camp at the campground. We were the only campers that night and was fortunately the only night we had rain.
... to the car around 4:30 PM. We rested, dehydrated, ate, and then took off for the last four miles. Its amazing how much easier it is to hike without all that extra weight on your back. I think we finished out the final 4 miles in a hour. We had Mexican afterwards.

... did not exist. We got to camp around 5:30 PM and did not have time for a camp fire. My spoon had broken the night before, thanks Mitch, so I had to borrow one from Ryan. The three of us fit into the the three man tent nicely and without any major issues.
