... I was supporting the Jets and despite some pretty ****** reffing that resulted in a Jets win (and I'm not complaining!). I'd say the only thing I disliked was the scantily clad girls (they looked 14) "shovelling" the ice or otherwise acting like cheerleaders. I guess this is an American thing but....it's hockey, not football. It was just so out of place. Otherwise I had a fantastic time. They even have the post-game traffic down to a fine art! Final score: Jets 3 - 2 Blue ...
... but I couldn't remember how it ended so I kept reading. When it was close to 11:30 we started walking back to the gate. They had moved the security check further down the terminal. We had to show our passports and boarding passes again. We sat and read until the plane started to load.

... sat until another group arrived from another delayed flight. Derek says we left at 7:38 and we were supposed to leave at 6:45. But we were fine with that as we would have wanted them to wait on us if we were delayed. Besides the pilot said it would take us 6 hours and 25 minutes for the crossing which is about an hour less than the scheduled time.

... My last day at Jerome was yesterday and now I only have 7 weeks until I graduate college. I feel like such an adult. I am definitely going to miss the students at Jerome though. They were great! A few of my classes brought in treats and cards and cakes and we ate nothing but sugar all day (not complaining).

On the 24th of June, 2013 my world came to a screeching halt. Never did I dream that lunch with my best friend would be our last. It would be a very long list of 'lasts', and I am still adding to it. Sharing so much over 33 years makes a memory of life alone fade to a dull dim.
