Woke up Saturday about 7:00am. After breakfast, and some last minute details to take care of, we went birding at Woodman Fen to have something to do to keep from being anxious. We got there in about half an hour and walked to the terminal and got in line for United Airlines. After were finished answering the security questions we were just waiting in line when I heard a ticket clerk ask if anyone was on the 12:05 flight to Newark. I raised my hand and she asked ...

... morning cup of tea in? would we have little fluffy animals waiting on the bed for us? Who knows? Only John & Maryline for now.

Once we had arrived with them, John was telling us about how he had got involved with Columbus Zoo. This zoo has been voted Americas favourite zoo and we think John said was the second largest in the whole North American continent. So quite some achievement.

John is on the Board of Directors for the zoo and has been involved for ...
