2 months ago I was on my way to LA, feeling lucky that I would have 2 months on Anna Maria again next winter. Now I am excited to say that we have purchased a little 2 bedroom condo in The Inlets, closing in August. I will have my "bike ride to the beach" winter home after all. ... dance floor. Two guys sitting at the bar called Roya and me over. They asked what we were drinking and bought us some more drinks. We chatted them up for a bit and then went outside. We were followed by a few folks who told us that the two guys we were hanging out with in there were talking bad about us. I think I missed something, but after a conversation with these folks, it was time to go home. We made it back to Roya's safe and sound. Fun ...
I awoke to silence at 6:30, which is noteworthy at Oshkosh, because by that time, the air is normally filled with the sound of engines as pilots go out for a dawn flight.
As I emerged from the tent, I saw that everything was wet and the sky filled with fog, except for in the Far East, as the sun slowly burned through. Over the course of the morning, the sky cleared and allowed us to dry out.
