We awoke early this morning so we got up and got on the road by 6:45 am. We left under cloudy skies with a drizzly rain that turned heavy off and on for the first three hours. In an attempt to avoid as many tolls as possible, we traveled out I-70 to I-68 into West Virginia passing Sideling Hill and Cheat Lake along the way.

Now I am excited to say that we have purchased a little 2 bedroom condo in The Inlets, closing in August. I will have my "bike ride to the beach" winter home after all. ... into my suitcase. He was at Fond Object hanging outside for a show. I wanted to stay so badly but I knew if I didn't keep moving I would fall asleep while I was driving. I gave him his pants and a bag of the voodoo chips and continued on to columbus. The drive was nearly 1,000 miles and took about 15 hours. I never want to drive that much at once again. When I got to Roya's around 3 in the morning, I crawled into her bed, told her about my trip, and then passed ...

A few months ago, I bought a book called "The Great American Roadtrip" which contains different attractions throughout the states. One of the attractions in Ohio that was listed in the book was the Longaberger building (a building that looks like a giant basket). I saw it in the book when I first bought it and thought it'd be cool to go see.. but it wasn't appealing enough to make a special trip to see it. It's one of those things that you get to, look at it, say, "Neat!" ...
