We found this amazing and very honest - the jar was not a memorial jar at all but rather a jar for tips. Such a delight to experience such honesty from a young person. We said it was a good idea, watched as she took the money out of the jar and put it into the till. So we put in a tip into the jar. Great ...

        ... nice to
        watch.

We got together with the three families
for a Lads dinner. 6 adults, 10 kids, lots of noise and laughter. So
great to see everyone and who they have become and do a little bit of
life with them. We had a late night and everyone crashed after a busy
day. I didn't take any photos! Was so disappointed, we were just chatting and hanging and forgot :(

Carl's Jnr. Then we went down to the Harpeth River and spent an hour
in the shade, breeze and scenery before heading to catch up with Mark
and Andrea. Mark was in the band with Ben and it was again just like
old times. Everyone has aged a little but it's like picking up where
we left off apart from adding four more kids between us. There was
chatting, Xbox playing for the kids, some card games, a little ...

them in that long but have history with them for decades before that.
So lovely to chat and eat and hang. The kids buddied up straight away
and the family has a self contained flat off the garage so Ben and I
have some space for a few days and the kids stay in the RV. Divine!
While we are in the area we plan to visit a few old places again and
find some new ones to enjoy for the first time.

... this experience, ominous foreshadowing #1!

At Hampshire, TN I happened along this amazing storm cloud and stopped to shoot a quick video of it, the low hanging clouds really looked like cotton candy. I thought it might be pretty neat to 'catch' up to this system, maybe see some lightning ominous foreshadowing #2!
