... to us, makes a comment about the $10 we had placed into the jar and asks if we would like the money to go into the till so we can help the idea of the payment in advance to continue. We found this amazing and very honest - the jar was not a memorial jar at all but rather a jar for tips. Such a delight to experience such honesty from a young person. We said it was a good idea, watched as she took the money out of the jar and put it into the till. So we put in a tip into the jar. Great ...

We got together with the three families
for a Lads dinner. 6 adults, 10 kids, lots of noise and laughter. So
great to see everyone and who they have become and do a little bit of
life with them. We had a late night and everyone crashed after a busy

them in that long but have history with them for decades before that.
So lovely to chat and eat and hang. The kids buddied up straight away
and the family has a self contained flat off the garage so Ben and I
have some space for a few days and the kids stay in the RV. Divine!
While we are in the area we plan to visit a few old places again and
find some new ones to enjoy for the first time.

I will take this opportunity to revisit yesterday's entry now, highlighting the text; Usually when I am soaked right ...
