      Just a side note about "dog people" and "dog culture"... We have owned 3 dogs over the past 30 years. Until this most recent dog, Sammy, we just got a puppy, added it into the family mix and moved on. We had a dog, but we were not "dog people". I did not realize what this meant until this new dog.       ... and by far the most ramps, several in a row, were the various Disneyland's. Anyway we soldiered on.

      About half way we stopped for Gas and some food. Now, I remember Wendy Burgers from my youth, there was one in the Strand up in London. It came and went with no real presence over here, however this is what we had on the road and I must say it kicks Ron McD into the long grass. It was the best burger of this style I have had, five stars.

      ... exhausted but the boys were rearing to go, so off they went to the indoor pool! Got all their energy out so that was a good thing! For day 1 we went thru Florida, Georgia and got into Tennessee, not bad!
