    ... s sleep and headed out in the rain, one of the few times we have encountered it. Strange because it rained while we were in St. Louis and the short remaining portions of Missouri.     ... with her. Small batch made ice cream with exotic flavors like Mango and Chocolate Ganache -- how can you go wrong? Between the four of us we had seven flavors (including five premium ice creams, one gelato, and one sorbet), all were excellent.

    We ended our day honoring our kids' request for pool time. We jumped and splashed and swam and generally had a soaking good night.

    ... girls spent some time in the pool while Dad went foraging for food…. at Krogers. Supper, and then our Ice Cream Theme: McDonald’s Treat Tuesday. Macy and Anna excitedly ordered on their own and paid for their own McFlurry with a gift card they had each received.

    We ate our picnic lunch in the beautiful gardens surrounding the museum, and followed this up with a trip to the petting zoo and a camel ride for the girls. Our day was capped off by a return to the museum store where we picked up a few souvenirs.

    Flight was overbooked, so they held us at gate to re-ticket passengers causing a 1/2 hour delay in boarding. The delay in boarding caused Chicago to hold us at the airport because of weather. Weather caused us to re route to Chicago via St Louis. Needless to say arriving 2 hours late in Chicago made us miss our flight to Germany/South ...
