    The Walmart at Hammond IN where we
    stopped was surrounded by trucks and felt a lot safer. Go with ya gut
    when it comes to safety. And as it turns out, after reading up and
    looking at Chicago Safety maps, we had been parked up in one of three
    most dangerous areas in Chicago and one of the 25 most dangerous
    areas of USA. We promise to be much more careful in the future!

    ... say goodbyes to mom, Malia, and Eric. Eric made us breakfast and packed our lunch to eat in the the bus. Malia was crying all morning long. When mom dropped us off at the bus station, we noticed she was trying to leave as quickly as possible to hide her tears. We are extremely excited to start our trip but it is very hard and sad to leave our family. At least knowing I will see my mom again in December for Joo's wedding makes me feel little better.

    We arrived in Chicago on time despite our delay in London. The captains made up time in the air. The kids were also given customs forms on the plane, which lead to some confusion how to fill the out.
