      After a shuttle that took us over an hour to get from the airport, we had finally made it to our hotel, right on the Chicago River. It's a great central spot close to nearly everything.       We're off. It was a late Spurs game last night. We got a few hours of sleep before getting to the airport at 4:30am. Getting our bags checked in and thru security was a breeze and probably didn't have to be here so early but it's better to be safe than to miss the first flight of your trip.

      The 6:30am flight left SA on time, but we had to wait in Chicago for 6 hours to catch the Air Berlin flight to Germany. Love those airline miles ...
