Today we spent the day in Charlotte, North Carolina. Started the day at the newly opened Nascar Hall of Fame. The Hall opened to the public on May 11th of this year, so it was amazing to be some of the first people to ever visit. Such halls exist for other US Sports, but this is the only one in the US dedicated completely to Motorsport.
We always knew it would be a long day, previous experience of the US Train service is that is can be heavily delayed. We left the hotel in Washington on the 7am shuttle and headed for the Amtrak Station, we always planned to try and miss the rush hour and also get there early enough.
