    ... as it had gotten dark just before the rain hit. The hotel lobby was warm and welcoming. We checked in and rode our bikes in the pouring rain to our rooms which, unfortunately, had outside entrances.

    We were cold and tired. We quickly decided to meet in the lobby at 6:00am for an early start on the home stretch. Bed came quickly and falling asleep was no problem at all.
