On the road home
The next morning we caught the ferry at Charlotte, VT, to cross Lake Champlain into New York. We had a long day of driving, as I wanted to be fairly close to Cleveland so we could stop at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We made it to just south of Buffalo, to West Seneca, NY. That put us only three hours from Cleveland, which would give us plenty of time in the hall of fame.

After crossing the border we drove in to Buffalo and stopped at a Ford Dealership to get our oil changed. This took a while so it kind of delayed our plans, but we were still ok. When we finally finished up there we drove about 10 minutes down the road to West Seneca to stop for lunch. ...
Overnight with a view
I must admit I didn't spend much time in Buffalo, as it was just a place where we spent the night during our weekend at the Niagara Falls. The Hotel was great anyway: probably one of the best beds I've ever slept in! It's not in the town centre (closer to Lake Erie) but from the windows, I got a great view of the town. Great value for your money!

Day 41 - Soaking it up at The Falls
... at all! Max was like a Jumping Jack…couldn’t wait to get on and more importantly to get wet! The half an hour boat ride was ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR!!!! From drizzle storms to deserted towns....

Unfortunately the next day’s weather was not much better, so we gritted our teeth and went back into the ‘drizzle storm’! A tunnel has been built going behind the actual falls; so we donned our free-be poncho’s and wandered behind the immense falls which was so surreal.
