I did manage to get out for a couple of drives in the countryside and Mike was able to golf a couple of times, so he wasn't totally bummed by my immobility. Well, not nearly as much as I was. Towards the end of our week, I felt I could amble around sufficiently enough to see some of the sights. So off we ventured.
The quirky "cabin in the woods" in New York State was another unique property that we had chosen through air bnb. Unfortunately Freddie nearly burnt it down within ten of arrival as he lit a candle in a wooden casing! You couldn't write it about Freddie! ... but being the person that I am I missed the **** out of all my friends (Not Karen) and I went on that tiring Friday and it was AMAZING. After the hugs and **** I went on with my life it was a great end to a great adventure! I really want to go back to New Zealand but till then I will see you in the next adventure! -Calvin
P.s the reason my mom isn't writing is because she isn't with me at the moment sorry!

I found a tan line where me hair band was on my wrist (that is a big deal for me and my pale skin!! Haha). I am now heading to Starbucks for some breakfast and going to see Ted 2at the movie theatre :) ending it with lunch as Walmart before I head back to camp from Binghamton!!! ...
... in the area I
definitely would camp here again. It was
an overnight stop for us on a two week trip.
Points of Interests – We drove routes 28,30 and then 206 to get here
through the Catskill Mts and what a beautiful drive. Route 206 had more 10% grades to drive than
28 did so beware!
