... flat screen TV - all for only $59.47. Had another delicious meal at Cracker Barrel at a price al lot better than Shari's at home, with far better food. Seems like that the last time we were in this part of the country, C-B prices were rather high - but no more !
Will try our luck with another Days Inn in Baytown TX tomorrow night.

Nous voici au Mississipi à Biloxi. Il n'y a pas seulement à New Orleans que Katrina a fait des ravages. Ici aussi. Auparavant, il y avait des casinos flottants. Ils ont été détruits ou déplacés par l'ouragan. Michel était venu il y a 15 ans, et il ne reconnait pas les lieux. Ils ont construits de gros casinos sur la terre ferme. Toujours chanceux côté météo, 27o et du soleil. nous profiterons de la plage de Biloxi quelques ...

... plan is om vandaag direct naar de Golfkust te rijden en daarna hard bakboord richting Florida.
Wel trekken we nog even tijd uit voor een stukje trainen en belanden bij de enige MMA-club in Mississippi, de 'Alan Becher MMA Club'. We worden er hartelijk ontvangen en werken een pittige training af. Morgen richting het oosten, naar de Atlantic.

I will say, there are some choice people in casinos. We only walked through the
several thousand slot machines and saw many different walks of life including
people who just sat on the same machine pumping dollar after dollar into it’s
greedy mouth, older women with blue rinses and tracksuits attached to their
gambling cards and slots via a secure leash, middle aged men who obviously ...

... 150 miles to New Orleans where their office is as they
don’t have offices in Alabama or Mississippi (WTF??) and option B) Change the
tire and drive to Pensacola in FLORIDA to have the CAR changed. Pensacola was
another 60 miles away from Mobile so we’d had to drive 150 miles out of our way
to get a new car to then go back to Biloxi (we’d written off Mobile already)
