Staying at Martin Lake Resort which is a definite stretch! It is mobile home park not an rv park, with old fifth wheels and campers that people call home. There is a nice lake and a pool. We drove down along the gulf and stopped to take pictures of the carved trees damaged during Katrina. Absolutely beautiful! Had dinner at BBQ joint that had wonderful reviews but we didn't like it as much. However the owner was so friendly it made up for it. Leave tomorrow for ...

We decided to stay an extra day in Biloxi, Mississippi. We went on a 70 minute shrimp boat tour in a 12 foot deep channel. We discovered a lot of stuff we did not know about shrimp. It is so beautiful here that we have decided to stay another day. There is a Shrimp boat tour available that we have decided to give a go. We learn all about shrimp fishing and even get to see how it's done! Wow, we had a great time learned a lot about shrimp and we ...

    Travel Day

We headed east this morning on I-20 to US Rt. 49 in Jackson MS where we turned south on US 49. This was a nice drive through rolling countryside and several small towns. We had a picnic lunch at the “Paul B Johnson State Park”; it was a beautiful setting overlooking a good size lake where several boats and personal water craft were enjoying the beautiful day. We continued south on US ...

... trip that I might otherwise have chosen to do because I’ve let my overall physical condition get away from me a bit in the past few years in favor of focusing on my work, not always eating right, and being too lazy to properly look after my body. I know people my age, or younger, or just a touch older, who can’t do what they want to do because of any of the reasons I cited just now and in the previous paragraph. EVERY ONE OF US knows ...
