I love being a Hilton Honors member, and Hampton Inns are one of my favorite hotels! Free cookies and coffee in the lobby. Always clean. Staff is always polite. Very accommodating to motorcyclists as well!

Up at 0500 hours, and ready to roll, but weather channel indicated heavy fog in Houlton, Maine. Delayed my departure until 0730 hours, after I went across the street from the motel to a gas station and asked if any of the truckers had just come north on I-95. One piped up and said yep, why? ... Imaginative renovation includes long verandas and bold inside/outside spaces. The interiors mix striking, colorful style with homage to the generations of mill workers’ families who lived here. The inn and its amenities…breakfast, the pool and more, are outlined a few clicks away...along with the rich attractions of this unique region. Dare to come...to Porches, to North Adams, to the Berkshires. You may never be the same!
... with amazing views at the top of the mountains. We drove through a town where every 10 feet the speed limit changed from 30mph to 40, back to 30, 40, 30, 40. There wasn't time to change speed to accommodate. Good thing there were no state troopers because we were doing 50! During the drive we were talking about makeup, which I wasn't wearing, and was told "You don't need any, you're a natural beauty". I looked ...
