I love being a Hilton Honors member, and Hampton Inns are one of my favorite hotels! Free cookies and coffee in the lobby. Always clean. Staff is always polite. Very accommodating to motorcyclists as well!

... fantastic new showers and is out of the town noise. There is 1 hr free wifi. The grocery store is a short walk, and so is the public library with free internet and air conditioning in this 100F heat. Sadly this is another town with a lot of empty store fronts and a sense of great loss from what it used to be. There are very impressive huge churches, rambling old mansions and more industry- you can tell that ...

Hi All.........we are all doing great and just can't believe how quickly the summer has gone by. It is so true what they say......the older you get, the faster the time passes. Being retired really gets you to take in all the beauty that surrounds us and enjoy the finer things in life. One thing for sure...we definitely have to go on a diet---even Sandy.

We left Bar Harbor, ME on 8/6. We travelled thru the White Mountains of ...

    A new adventure

A travel blog entry by ktkadventures on Aug 20, 2015

After adjusting to life back here in the states, I am settled and ready to begin my Masters degree and new job. However, before the school year begins, it is time to squeeze in one more adventure. This will be the first year I am helping move my little (but taller) brother into his dorm at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. My family has been to his campus at least a half dozen times, however, I have been unable ...
