... early today; 4.00 ish.

Took a drive to find dinner and ended up at Pine Grill which was within walking distance. Nice meal of chicken and veggies for Wes and chicken and pasta for me. Back to the hotel to do some exercise in the fitness room. Not much there but the treadmill worked fine for me. Knees too sore for the stepper. Bit of sightseeing around Somerset tomorrow morning then maybe Pittsburgh (think I said that last night?)

... village or fort. There’s an excellent indoor display and one of the outside buildings houses the actual first hole that was drilled (69.5’) where they struck oil. The building is an exact replica and the equipment inside is all operational, including a pipe that still brings up oil. The hole has been dry for years but they keep recycling some oil as a demonstration. It didn’t start raining until I was ready to leave.

Today we finished climbing at our 9 mph pace for 20 miles we finally got to the top and saw the continental divide. We then went through a mile long tunnel, and saw a wonderful view were we ate lunch. Then it was downhill for 22 miles, and we were going 14mph! Next we got to Cumberland and we ...
