... We almost completed the entire house's siding but had to wrap up in time to get over to the YMCA and start getting ready for dinner. The nice people at the Y let me get in a nice 2 mile jog on the treadmill (something I have yet to do on this trip and man it showed!) and now to shower at the church before another host-provided meal potluck style :) That's a wrap! 9 straight bike days start tomorrow! Special shout out to Anthony--Happy 23rd ...

It's been so interesting watching and participating in how these homes are built. When I have my own home, way in the future, should I decided to build it, I think I'd like to be involved in it's development. ... Habitat: today I painted. We painted the entire inside of a house white. Well most of it. I think we'll get the rest of it tomorrow. I painted with about 9 other people but was mostly with Hannah and Carlee and Jacob. And Annie and Breezer. And Mary, too. It was a pretty good day. There was some weird stuff that happened, but all in ...

... me through a steady day of painting, painting, and more painting. We all were given assigned tasks-some did framing, some siding, and some painted with me. We all tackled the interior of the house, which had originally been painted orange, blue and white. The whole house needed to be repainted. After a few hours of painting, we ...

    • After i had calmed down i went back and slept. I needed to conserve my energy for the rest of this adventure. All i wanted to do was explore as much as i could, see the lights of San Francisco. I was not sure where to start until i found this great website, SF.funcheap. It would show you free events in the city on any day you choose. I was very excited as i could experience unsusual things ...
