A morning of another delicious hot breakfast followed by second coats on the paint jobs we started yesterday. We then were given Subway for lunch and since there wasn't much left to be done with the paint crew, I switched groups to help put up the wood siding on another house. I think siding has become my favorite construction project. It's such a team effort-measure, cut, position, nail. And, I got to use a nail gun for the first time today. I felt ...

Hello, friends! Another build day. Instead of painting we built walls and added insulation. But before I go into that, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANTHONY!! Anthony is another builder on this trip. From Connecticut, he recently graduated with his MBA, and quite simply, he's fantastic. He's generous, big-and-kind hearted, embracing... I could go on and on and on about him. AND Greek yogurt and fruit! I haven't had Greek yogurt until I left home, and it's been sorely missed in my life. -Stop to see local landmarks (see picture). -Building ...

... disgusting. Although I teach spinning recreationally, I am by no means a cyclist. Breezer does an amazing job coaching and teaching about biking techniques, and has patience of a saint with me from answering questions about shifting gears and changing tire tubes. We hauled tail (not sure if she keeps it PG or not) and finished 40mi in 2hr and maintained 19mph average, and called it a day! We then shuttled rest of way and are ...

... ticket to see the San Francisco Giants play at the AT&T Park. I was very impressed with the stadium, it was grand and lit up. I managed to get a half price t-shirt inside to get me in the spirit of things. When I arrived to my seat it was hilarious,I felt like a true American. I could see people walking up and down the isles selling hot dogs and candy floss. Then you had the mascot at the bottom getting the crowd into gear. No one was having it, but as soon as the game ...
