    ... we went for a dip in the pool. It was 88F outside and the pool was a real shock – it was absolutely glacial. Jump in, shudder and shout, jump out! One of the other guests quipped that the water came from the ice machine.

    ... Mohave and Bakersfield and found ourselves driving over the Tehachapi Mountains. When your mapping routes you don't necessarily think about or consider the terrain but in a motorcoach you probably need to.     ... We pulled all of our junk out of the trunk and realized that there were no tools to help change the spare! Someone had removed the jack and wrench and not put them back. Luckily, this nice guy hauling a trailer of small farm equipment was nice enough to check up on us. He had a jack and a wrench that would fit! What a relief! After he helped us, we offered to buy him lunch, but he said he had already eaten and went on his way. Now, if that's not supernatural, I don't know what is!

    ... decided that instead of waiting for Monday afternoon to shop we’d start today and we are so glad that we did. We did find that we had a miscommunication so didn’t’ get the rice and did forget a couple of things that we can pick up tomorrow with no problem.

    We were gone for hours and there is no way we could have gotten everything done tomorrow without going off the deep end.
