Up early and first to breakfast. Not many people staying at this motel judging by the number of parked cars. Obviously a bit of a low lull at Christmas. Anyway, john and i started our breakfast, Andreas came soon after and Patrick joined in the eating a bit later. Not bad with scrambled eggs and the obligatory Texas shaped waffles. Good. Don't where bathing suits on corporate property. As the acclaimed home of the local-food movement, one of Austin's best burger joints, Hopdoddy, provides all local grassfed meat and produce. ... There wasn't much action then, but shortly after feeding time in the AM and afternoon, it apparently gets pretty lively. We will see.
The campground has about forty sites, which are paved and offer water and electricity. I took on about fifty gallons of the liquid gold and then did up the hose and stowed it. It's still freezing at night, so this is what works best for us. We'll let the pump do the job for us. It's just above ...
