On October 1 we were staying in Angola, IN and visiting the surrounding areas. The main street of Angola was closed for traffic during a two week beautification project. When we were there they were planting shrubbery around a large statue in the middle of the traffic circle in the middle of town. It will be beautiful when they finish and I'm sure they hope it helps attract business. They were due to open the street traffic the following day so ...
... sauces if you'd like. They have 15 sauces ranging from no spice (my kinda sauce), to WALL (made with habanero chilli). Darren decided to try 2 with the WALL sauce and boy did he know about it!!!
He held it together pretty well but his eyes were tearing up and you could almost see beads of sweat forming on his forehead. He says they were nice and he'd have them again but they made his lips feel like they were on fire.
Today we got our plate for the truck in the mail!!! This means we are pretty much good to go whenever.
We also parked up downtown, had some lunch, then walked around a lot. We saw a few different parks which were mostly empty and the grass had seen better days - it's been so humid that most of the yards here are starting to struggle a bit.

Afterwards we had heard about how every Thursday in the summer they were encouraging people to come to Downtown Fort Wayne - i guess it was so popular as new areas of Fort Wayne have developed. So they have about 10 food trucks, free music and just a real nice atmosphere.

... so he could get some better pictures. We just walked back around our favourite animals and also went on a ride which was basically a ski lift that you can jump on and get a good view of the Africa area.
On the way out we stopped in the Farm section where you can feed the goats milk…mum am I correct in thinking this is the place I have a funny memory of when I was younger? If so I really don’t see how I can be blamed…if you give a me ...
