... the gate at JFK, waiting for my flight to Nice. My carry on suitcase is packed for my 10-day European journey abroad.

Amelia did not take my news very well. She moves back to school on Friday & she couldn't believe I was ditching her for Nice ~ she'll get over it! Her things are already in Macon in storage & Jeff can move her in, they'll do just fine! ...

Today we went to down town Atlanta and got off of the train at Lenox, ready to go to the cinema. We went to look around some fancy expensive shops on the way. We saw mayceys and a Bloomingdales. We really didn't expect to see tall fancy sky scrapers today. The shops were so posh. The buildings were made of glass. The Phipps mall we went in had lots of posh expensive cars in it ...

... really interesting. We skipped meeting the bear. It kind of looked scary. We then went into the 4d cinema which gave us the secret of coke. It was cheesey and the chair hurt my back but it was ok. And walked around a pop art gallery were we got to make our own bottle of open art. It was fun! We then tasted it which was too awesome! We tried over 60 different drinks from across the globe! Awesome. We also got a free bottle of coke at the end of the day to take home. Wow. Good final ...

... climbs and maneuvering over rocks for the second half mile to the falls. I was pleased to discover Maho enjoyed the hike and was adept at the covering the rocks. I began secretly plotting our next Georgia hiking adventures as we reached the end of the trail. We took in the beauty of the flora and fauna (excluding the snakes) for a few minutes before climbing up to the blue trail which would circle back through the forest to the trail ...

... some more and happened on what turned out to be a great fish restaurant. Have been surprised by the size of the meals this time. Not as big as our visits in the past - much more European size, which is good.

That's it for now ... while we sort out the camera and download - then upload - some pictures, so make sure you check them out.

Cheerio [the USAians LOVE us saying that!] for now.
