1st night at Flying J Edmond, Ok
Left Tyler about 1 pm. Got a late start but traffic thru Dallas was light so we made good time. Got fuel at the Flying J in Ardmore, OK (85.149 gal @3.97/9 per gal) but still going as we wanted to get thru Oka City late so as not to hit the traffic. Stopped in Edmond, Ok FlyingJ and parked in front parking lot and made a night of it. This worked out just fine as other rvs were parked also. Flat out through flat country
Today's ride from Lubbock to Sulphur, Oklahoma was a handy enough ride through pretty flat country. The thing that made it tough wasn't the heat which was mostly high 80's and as high as 96F (35C), but the humidity which was about 80%.

Juan figured it would be a good time for me to learn the ins and outs of his truck so I got my first experience driving a Dodge 3500 5 speed through down town Dallas and on to Ardmore where I was just too tired to go on. Pouring rain and Motel 6 beckoned.
