      We didn't get an early start but found ourselves on our way by about 10:30. Once we got to the 403, the weather turned a bit nasty, blowing snow with snow covered patches on the roads.       The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. My family enjoyed a classic Five Guys burger (which they confirmed IS " the best $5 burger a man can get") and I ate at Astoria Bakery, the very reputable bakery in Greektown on Monroe Street.       ... at our hotel forst. Homewood Suites (50,000 points OUCH) was beautifully decorated and laid out and our suite felt positively luxurious. We then headed out in search of a snack. Just a few hundred metres away was the famed Newport Creamery where we got some delicious ice cream and an Awful Awful, a must have in Newport.
