... Arrived at hotel and had shower and warmed up. Put the A/C unit to heat. First time on this trip. Ordered in a pizza for lunch and then I tested out the bed quality with a nap. Well I use the term losely as not sure when a nap becomes a sleep but I just couldn't get up. Not even for a milkshake.

I think what happened was that I was looking for a site half way between Owosso and Moline (tomorrow's stop) not focusing on the fact that we wanted to see more of Indianapolis. The train photo made us do a double take. The balloon ...

He then went into his shop and came out with a small plastic wedge a foot long and high that he fitted under the rug ...

The day was a bit cloudy, but the temps were up, so it was a good day to see Antietam, or as the southerners call it, Sharpsburg. But we are in the North, or at least a border state, so we'll call it Antietam.

The drive was not long from the Embassy Suites in Wilmington, DE to Antietam, Maryland, about an hour. We parked at the Visitor’s Center and made a mad dash for the movie theatre as the half-hour movie was ...

... register us and then one of the "Perms" or permanent residents, who happened to stop in to purchase a couple of sodas, escorted us over to our site. We set up camp in short order as the storm clouds gathered in earnest. The PGA championship golf tournament was being held just south of us in Louisville, Kentucky so we watched it live on TV while we decompressed from the long day ...
