    ... 45 minutes) the wind was blowing so hard it made it difficult to open/shut the door and the black line was coming closer rapidly. The temperature dropped into the 30's. Bob wanted to try and outrun the forecasted 24 hours of wind so we headed north towards Amarillo about 20 miles away.     ... tried to use my back up bike and found I had to do a number of adjustments before that would work. The backup bike was very painful and I have been spoiled by my Bianchi Volpe. I rode that bike close to Sun City, Arizona where the traffice became congested. I then took a ride with Doris to our hotel in Tempe, Az. Tomorrow we find a bike shop!

    ... the way home. Apparently I was trying to climbe through the window of Mac Donalds and got quite a way in but have no recollection of this at all. God I'm a tit at times.     And now,back to revising that to-do list (and to-eat list, after all now that I'm staying out on Zamalek, it appears there is a nearby restaurant that actually services molokhayia- the one item on my to-eat list that I was having a hard time locating).
