... pulled up to escort us on the march (sirens included!) When turning out of the car park our resident techie (Neil) who was acting as flag bearer decided that he was temporarily back in the UK leading the whole march towards the UK side of the road into oncoming traffic! Thankfully some others were more awake and quickly shouted for him to move over! The band headed the march along with Salvationists ...

The mill store was wonderful-full of different types of flour and dried goods such as beans, fruit, baking supplies and pastas. Huge gluten free section too. Amongst other items, we bought a 50 pounds bag of Arva all purpose flour, 10 lbs bag of pastry flour (people are marveling about this stuff) ad 5lbs each of light ...

Amazing sleep last night...
This morning Owen got up to shower...he is our chipper in the morning and earlier riser I said to Rick we better get up for breakfast. The restaurant is open 7-10am and we woke at 11am :(. Guess we were tired. Up quick showers and we made it to the Ice Hotel tour at noon...AMAZING.

The social whirl rolled on. Rotary events included Ken's handing over of the presidency of London West Rotary to Mark (it is a family stitch up) and brunch at the golf club with the South Korean exchange team.
Too hot for golf. 38 degrees. moderate humidity.
Maureen travelling amazingly well. She wants to do it again next year....Her feet are not cold
