While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. That's all for now. Sorry if you found this post boring, but sometimes you just gotta gloat. Love you ...

Up early and left Athens in the early morning sunshine.....Billie Jo our GPS took us to Atlanta via downtown which was a bit nerve wracking as we were caught in late morning rush hour. I really wasn't that hungry though. I didn't want anything large and I knew we'd be fed on the international flight. There was only one thing I really wanted which was the Nathan's hotdog and cheese fries. I had gotten it while coming back from Philadelphia ...

... HUGE driving day. No stops, no whining, no fooling around we are supposed to drive 12 hours to East Kansas City,MO where we have a KOA Kamping Kabin reservation.

We are completely packed, but now we are going to be waiting on the doorstep of the car repair place at 7:30am begging them to fix our brake as fast as possible. We are deflated and depressed. We really need to stay on this driving schedule, dammit! Really?!?!?!
