Part of the enjoyment of Nationwide Arena is in fact the Arena district itself. The city has obviously put a lot of effort into the area - it's all very well maintained and there are lots of restaurants and bars for both pre- and post-game fun! The arena itself is new and has everything you'd want at a hockey game. The big cannon they fire off when the Blue Jackets score is awesome. It makes me jump every time but it's nice to have something unique. The fans were friendly ...
... but I couldn't remember how it ended so I kept reading. When it was close to 11:30 we started walking back to the gate. They had moved the security check further down the terminal. We had to show our passports and boarding passes again. We sat and read until the plane started to load.
Loading went quickly and smoothly as the plane was not even half full. When we got to our seats, we decided to spread out. Derek grabbed ...
... sat until another group arrived from another delayed flight. Derek says we left at 7:38 and we were supposed to leave at 6:45. But we were fine with that as we would have wanted them to wait on us if we were delayed. Besides the pilot said it would take us 6 hours and 25 minutes for the crossing which is about an hour less than the scheduled time.
As soon as we were airborne I started watching the Life of Pi which we have had in our cue ...
... in my suitcases! :-)
Well I hope people will actually read this and leave me comments. I would love to hear from everyone. It's going to be weird not seeing and talking to everyone everyday. I already miss everyone.
Alright, well I need to get back to packing. My next entry will be from the plane tomorrow!

Ray was a beloved encourager, one who chose to empower others, especially his family.
To do justice to his life will require more time and space. I know that the same God who welcomed him home, also walks with me and will reveal to me further details in His perfect time.
