The boatyard - land of dreams
... who sailed their boat here from Sweden across the Atlantic bound for who knows where. Our friend Dale, who we traveled with to the Abacos in 2011, just left here. He and his crew are headed back to the Abacos on Allegria, a beautiful boat he built. There are well over 60 boats in the work yard and everyone is hard at work on getting ready to launch.

Sunday we were on the road by 7 a.m. and arrived at Indiantown at 3 pm to open up the bug balm in the cabin so we could work on the boat tomorrow. Worth the 18-Hour Drive
... I've never even driven anywhere far---not Dallas, San Antonio or Austin, so this was definitely a first for me. I'm sure my dad wasn't too happy but I guess he trusted me enough to at least drive safely so he let me go. My brother also has been dying to go on a vacation so as soon as he found out we were doing a roadtrip to Florida he decided to come along, now I only have to drive half of the trip (whew.)
